CRS was originally founded as Claims Resource Solutions, providing claims servicing to the van line, moving, and insurance industries.
Claims Resource Solutions was designed to be an all inclusive service, that could handle all the aspects of a moving claim -- do the inspection of damage, provide a written report, take pictures for the Claims Adjustor, and provide repair services for items that may have been damaged in the move, such as furniture, china, and artwork, along with any property damage to floors, walls, door frames, etc.
This "one stop service" was not only more convenient and efficient for the claims adjustor, it also provided better service and communication with the moving customer, who had to deal with only one company to have their claim inspected, evaluated, repaired and settled.
Key to the services offered by CRS was the quality it offered on the touch up and repairs of damaged items. Skilled craftsmen and women have been, and will be the foundation of CRS' service. CRS has a strong emphasis on continual education for its service techs, to keep pace with the latest technology in repairs, finishes and restoration.
Through its repair work on claims, CRS began to get calls from the customers they had serviced, who wanted touch up, repairs or refinishing for other furniture items they owned. Thus was the beginning of CRS' Consumer Division.
Our consumer services also include repairs and touch up of flooring, interior woodwork such as molding, door and window frames, stair cases, etc. This touch up and repair service is also convenient for real estate agents and home staging companies, which want to put a for sale property in its best light, by having all the normal wear and tear dings, scratches and gouges, touched up, without the need to refinish entire surfaces.
Our Commercial Division provides this same type of "touch up" service for hotels, restaurants, offices, and other facilities that have furniture, furnishings, or woodwork which they would like to "freshen" up to keep that new furniture look.
When necessary, of course, we do offer entire stripping and refinishing of items that have gone too far to benefit from touch up and freshening.
As our services expanded, we were called upon by new furniture manufacturers and stores to do warranty work. We are usually able to repair new furniture onsite in the home, which saves a great deal of cost for the furniture manufacturer, and is popular with the customer who bought the furniture, as they do not have to go for weeks while the item is picked up, repaired and re-delivered.
As our customer base and reputation for quality work has grown, we now also repair, refinishing, and restoration for Flood & Fire Damaged Furniture and Cabinets.
